Henna Tattoos

I spent last night drawing henna tattoos on my daughters and wife’s hands and feet.  I would not have been able to do this if my daughter had not brought home henna from her school.  A friend in her class, which is predominately muslim, gave her some henna so that she could try it out.  My daughter is so fortunate to be able to be going to a school that has such a diversity of cultures, and religions, that she can be exposed to many different views and beliefs.  My hope is that she will be able to grow up, and continue to be open-minded.  To be able to enjoy the company, become friends, and even love your neighbour is truly a gift that will serve her, her whole life.  If only we could all grow up to feel this way.

God Bless
